Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Team Leader to oversee operations at their distribution hub in Winsford. In this role, you will take ownership of warehouse processes for garage equipment, managing all aspects of inbound and outbound activities while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Leading a team of operatives, you’ll focus on continuous improvement and effective team management to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a warehouse team, ensuring roles are aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of stock, ensuring processes run smoothly and accurately.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the warehouse.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Identify process improvements to boost performance and efficiency.
• Ensure warehouse vehicles and equipment are properly operated and maintained.
• Support recruitment, training, and integration of new team members.
• Lead investigations and resolve operational issues when required.

What They Are Looking For:

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel knowledge is advantageous).
• Forklift license.
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet performance targets.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
