An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Entry Level Design Engineer to join an innovative and forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of systems, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to the final stages of design and manufacture.
• Support the creation of manufacturing packs, including component drawings, assembly drawings, and work instructions using SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
• Conduct design testing and ensure designs meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project delivery and meet deadlines.
• Support the testing and validation of prototypes, modifying designs as needed.

About you:

• At least 1 year of experience in design engineering, with hands-on experience using SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes such as sheet metal work, moulded components, bearings, drives, and machined parts.
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical interfaces and off-the-shelf components.
• Experience working with suppliers to understand manufacturing capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
