Our client, a well-established distribution company based in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a Buyer
to join their team. This role offers the chance to develop your skills in procurement while working closely with an experienced Buyer.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting the Buyer in sourcing and purchasing goods and materials
- Evaluating prices and quality to ensure the best value for the business
- Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and trends
- Managing and resolving supplier invoice queries
- Producing reports on costs and purchasing activity
- Maintaining and updating the supplier database
About you:
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previous purchasing experience or knowledge is a plus, but not essential
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- IT skills, particularly in Excel
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
