Our client, a well-established distribution company based in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. This role offers the chance to develop your skills in procurement while working closely with an experienced Buyer.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Assisting the Buyer in sourcing and purchasing goods and materials
  • Evaluating prices and quality to ensure the best value for the business
  • Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and trends
  • Managing and resolving supplier invoice queries
  • Producing reports on costs and purchasing activity
  • Maintaining and updating the supplier database
About you:
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Previous purchasing experience or knowledge is a plus, but not essential
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
