Appointments Personnel’s very own Peter Donnelly has been shortlisted for the Institute of Recruitment and Employment’s 2016 IRP awards in the Permanent Consultant of the Year category.
The REC’s Institute of Recruitment Professionals Awards (IRP Awards) bring together companies and individuals from the recruitment industry to celebrate and recognise professional excellence, best practice and inspirational work.
To win an award is the highest accolade any individual working in the recruitment industry can receive and are given to consultants who can illustrate exceptional work, provide positive role models and set the bar for others in the industry to aspire to.
Peter, who has been a part of the Appointments Personnel team for over five years, was nominated for the prestigious award by Managing Director Emma Bonfiglio to recognise his commitment to recruitment excellence and tireless dedication to his local clients and candidates.
Supported by the hard work of skilled Candidate Resourcing Specialist Lucy Cartlidge, Peter is able to effectively match candidates with their perfect positions and help local employers overcome their recruitment challenges.
Emma said ‘Peter’s enthusiasm and drive to provide the best quality service to all he works on behalf of is inspirational. He has a real passion to grow our business and enhance the reputation of recruitment agencies in our region.’
She continues ‘His excellent client and candidate feedback is testament to his many successes and he is a much respected and valued member of the Appointments team.’
The winner of the Permanent Consultant of the year title will be announced at a glittering ceremony in London on the 7th of December 2016 where recruitment professionals from throughout the UK will gather to celebrate the successes of their colleagues.
Recruitment Specialist Peter said ‘I’m overwhelmed just to be nominated for the award, but to be shortlisted is absolutely fantastic.’
‘I’m really looking forward to representing Appointments Personnel and all the hard work we do to support both our clients and candidates in the Staffordshire and Cheshire region on the night.’
Good luck Peter!
