Our successful client based in Stoke on Trent is looking for a permanent “Purchasing Administrator” to join their purchasing team. Working closely with Germany it would be advantageous to be fluent in German.
As a “Purchasing Administrator”, responsibilities will include:
- Converting approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders
- Obtain approvals for spend
- Communicating purchase orders to suppliers
- Obtain order confirmations
- Work with Accounts Payable team to ensure suppliers can be paid on a timely basis
- Dealing with suppliers outside the UK
- Expedite purchase orders
- Dealing with German customers
The successful candidate will have purchasing experience ideally within a manufacturing company.
If you are fluent in German this would be a distinct advantage.
