Purchasing Administrator

Our large successful manufacturing client based in Stoke on Trent are currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator on a permanent basis.

Duties will include:

  • Negotiating with suppliers
  • Managing stock levels and purchasing in line with demands
  • Obtain costs for bespoke items
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Placing orders
  • Cost comparison
  • Sourcing new suppliers

Desired knowledge and expertise:

  • Experience within a purchasing role ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
