Our large successful manufacturing client based in Stoke on Trent are currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator on a permanent basis.
Duties will include:
- Negotiating with suppliers
- Managing stock levels and purchasing in line with demands
- Obtain costs for bespoke items
- Raise purchase orders
- Placing orders
- Cost comparison
- Sourcing new suppliers
Desired knowledge and expertise:
- Experience within a purchasing role ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
