Appointments visits NULC to help students get job ready

Last week, Managing Director Emma Bonfiglio was invited to Newcastle-under-Lyme College to give BTEC Extended Diploma students a taste of the recruitment process in readiness for future employment opportunities.

Organised by the BTEC lecturers, the recruitment day gave the students professional insight into the recruitment process, including CV writing skills, interviewing techniques and finally a mock interview to give them practice responding to a wide range of questions that employers may well ask in a real-life interview situation.

Managing Director Emma said ‘all of the students really took on board the information on offer and saw the value that the day will have for them once they embark on their future careers.’

She continues ‘they all performed really well in the mock interviews and we’re really enthusiastic throughout the day.’
