Last week, Managing Director Emma Bonfiglio was invited to Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) to give BTEC Extended Diploma students a taste of the recruitment process in readiness for future employment opportunities and get job ready.
Organised by the BTEC lecturers, the recruitment day gave the NULC students professional insight into the recruitment process, including CV writing skills, interviewing techniques and finally a mock interview to give them practice responding to a wide range of questions that employers may well ask in a real-life interview situation.
This is an invaluable experience for many of the students who may soon be looking to enter the workforce and need some expert advice on how to get job ready when any future job opportunities arise.
Managing Director Emma said ‘all of the students really took on board the information on offer and saw the value that the day will have for them once they embark on their future careers.’
She continues ‘they all performed really well in the mock interviews and we’re really enthusiastic throughout the day.’
